The Tennessee women’s basketball program is committed to excellence on and off the court. The team has a 100-percent all-time graduation rate among its student-athletes, meaning every player who has completed her eligibility with the Lady Vols has graduated with a degree from UT. Through the years, the Lady Vols consistently have produced a team GPA above 3.0, and players have earned 135 individual Academic All-SEC citations.
Eight players off the 2014-15 squad made the SEC Academic Honor Roll, and Cierra Burdick was named a CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-American. Last year’s seniors, Burdick, Isabelle Harrison and Ariel Massengale, all graduated, and redshirt junior Andraya Carter enters the 2015-16 season seeking her master’s after earning her undergraduate degree in August 2015. Senior Nia Moore and redshirt junior Jasmine Jones are on track to graduate in December, while Bashaara Graves is on pace to earn her degree in May.
