  • Matt Kredich has been named as the head coach of a combined Tennessee swimming and diving program. Kredich, the 2012 SEC Women's Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year, has served the last seven years as the head coach of the UT women's program. The 2012 team finished seventh at the NCAA Championships, the highest finish for the team since 1989, when they finished fourth nationally.

    The women's swimming team also finished second in the SEC swimming and diving championships this season, tied for the program's highest finish in the conference all-time and the highest finish for the program since 1990. UT also finished second in the SEC in 1988 and 1989.

  • Tennessee diving coach Dave Parrington, a successful athlete on both the collegiate and international levels, has translated that athletic excellence into a high degree of proficiency in the coaching ranks. Parrington has received countless honors within every conceivable realm of the diving community and begins his 21st season coaching Vol divers.

    Parrington arrived on Rocky Top in 1990 and got right down to business. In the first decade of his tenure at Tennessee, he coached Vol divers to 17 Southeastern Conference championships. His wealth of experience and teaching ability was displayed in the successes of his athletes.

  • Tyler Fenwick has returned to Knoxville to begin his first year as the Associate Coach for the Tennessee men's and women's swimming and diving program.

    Fenwick is one of the most recognizable distance coaches in the country, having spent the last three years as the Head Men's National Team Coach for the Mission Viejo Nadadores, a premier Gold Medal club team in California.

  • Tennessee head swimming and diving coach Matt Kredich added another assistant to his staff with the return of Ashley Jahn to Knoxville.

    A former collegiate swimmer and water polo player for Air Force, Jahn has spent the last two years as an assistant coach at UNLV and Idaho. She was previously a graduate assistant with the Lady Vols for two seasons from 2008-10.

  • Head swimming and diving coach Matt Kredich announced the addition of Bret Lundgaard as an assistant coach for the recently combined men's and women's program.

    Lungaard joins Tennessee after spending the last three years as an assistant with Army, where he served as recruiting coordinator and also primarily trained freestylers and individual medley swimmers.

  • Lance Asti is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Tennessee swimming and diving program.

    Asti is certainly no stranger to the Southeastern Conference, as both a student-athlete and a coach. He swam for the Vols from 1998-2001 and has spent the last two seasons as the recruiting coordinator and sprint coach for the men's and women's swimming programs at LSU.

  • Brian Pritt enters his second year as a volunteer diving coach under Dave Parrington. Pritt is currently the head age group coach for the Tennessee Diving Club.

    Brian is a UT alum, graduating with a BA in Psychology in 1995. He was also a member of diving team from 1990-95 and was an NCAA finalist in 1993 and 1994.

    The Springfield, Mo., native previously coached at West Virginia in 2003 and with the Mission Viejo Nadadores from 2004-05.
